Everyone’s seen Gordon-Ji’s TV shows. Here he perfectly summarises how ‘real Indian food’ is not ‘lamb bhunas’ but ‘authentic’, heart-felt cooking for everyone to enjoy – even if it is vegetarian. Seemingly, there has FINALLY been a return of ‘true’ and traditional Indian restaurants, which the British public now love. Unless, like me, they’ve been to the featured - and ironically named - ‘Brilliant Restaurant’, where they’d find the food tastes like that cartoon vindaloo we saw earlier!
